Learning Management System Administrator

Job Responsibility:

ManchesterCF is an energetic and growing organisation, specialising in financial intelligence training.

The Learning Management System Administrator collaborates with members of the management team to coordinate administrative and client-facing LMS tasks including user enrolments and data organisation.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Perform LMS administrative functions:

• enrol users into courses
• configure delivery of course views by user populations
• upload and/or enable educational components and activities
• coordinate integration with third-party tools
• stay up-to-date with new LMS features and serve as primary liaison with the LMS vendor(s)

Coordinate the user experience in the LMS:

• identify users by population and assign them the appropriate enrolment permissions
• provide user support and respond to queries
• verify that users have met credentialing requirements
• coordinate issuance of certifications

Generate usage reports and maintain large data sets to provide accurate reporting on LMS activities.

Pull data from LMS and contribute to analysis of user activity:

• conduct regular reviews and maintenance of LMS educational components and activities

Work with internal team to ensure adherence to ManchesterCF processes and guidelines.

Proactively investigate new LMS features, capabilities and performance enhancements to address changing user needs:

• advise the internal team on go-forward recommendations

Point of contact for general queries and technical support.

Perform office administration tasks and assist with ad-hoc projects within the team and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree
• Familiarity with both MAC and PC environments and respond to user issues that may arise both on MAC and PC platforms
• Knowledge of client data systems/databases
• Knowledge of LMS platforms
• Fast learner, especially with new technology or systems
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Excellent project management skills
• Prioritization/time management skills
• Proven ability to communicate technical and non-technical information clearly to diverse audiences (end user and clients), particularly in written form
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Basic HTML skills
• Independent problem-solving skills
• Experience with technical troubleshooting/customer service

Desired Qualifications & Abilities

• Post-secondary education in Data Science, Information Technology, Educational Technology, Adult Education and/or a related field
• Basic understanding of design principles and ability to apply best practices in user interface and user experience design
• Experience using Blackboard
• Experience with components of adult learning courses

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
