The Security Assurance Services team, a part of Amazon Web Services, leverages the expertise and ingenuity of our builders to establish scalable security solutions for both internal and external customers that drive business outcomes. The AWS Security Assurance Services team works with our largest enterprise customers to operationalize the shared responsibility model as they migrate to the cloud.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Lead teams of internal staff, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
• Define innovative compliance and risk‑management approaches that help customers understand how to move sensitive workloads onto the cloud faster.
• Engage in deep‑dive discussions, strategic presentations, and hands‑on demonstrations to resolve security assurance questions and manage risk, achieving compliance while operating in AWS Cloud.
• Collaborate with AWS engineering, support and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.

About The Team

AWS Security Assurance Services LLC is a PCI‑QSAC (Payment Card Industry‑Qualified Security Assessor company) and HITRUST External Assessor Firm. It is a team of industry‑certified assessors helping our customers achieve, maintain, and automate compliance in the cloud by tying together applicable audit standards to AWS service‑specific features and functionality. Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Knowledge of SAP systems (e.g., SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects) and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
• Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
• Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private.
• Experience in SAP clean‑core design concepts, including design and build using non‑SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI and data & analytics.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $146,000.00 – $211,600.00 CAD annually, depending on location. As a total compensation company, Amazon’s package may include other elements such as sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D insurance), Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and other resources to improve health and well‑being.
