Manager of Accounting at Crombie

Lead financial reporting for Crombie REIT, leveraging your accounting expertise in a hybrid role based in New Glasgow or Halifax, NS. As the Manager of Accounting and Financial Reporting, you'll drive the success of our External Reporting Team. Crombie is looking for a Manager to oversee all external accounting and reporting functions. Your leadership will entail mentoring the team while ensuring compliance with IFRS standards. This is a prospect to enhance Crombie’s financial reporting accuracy while improving internal control processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead external accounting and reporting functions for Crombie REIT
- Ensure compliance with IFRS reporting standards
- Conduct quarterly SIFT model reporting
- Oversee Joint Venture reporting and property valuations
- Collaborate on Capex and tenant incentive reviews
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
- 5+ years in accounting and financial reporting
- Strong IFRS knowledge and reporting experience
- Proven ability in process improvement and internal controls
