Locum Position in Internal Medicine

Experience a full-time locum role with Aberdeen Hospital, Northern Zone, focusing on Internal Medicine. Provide critical inpatient care while engaging in outpatient services and quality initiatives. Join a skilled team providing 24/7 internal medicine consultations in a supportive healthcare setting. Your responsibilities will include direct patient care in ICU and monitored beds, participating in quality improvement efforts, and supporting teaching initiatives. Additionally, you will advise rural healthcare facilities in the region. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inpatient care and ICU responsibilities
• Coordinate community and tertiary-level health services
• Participate in quality assessment and improvements
• Engage in teaching and mentoring within the community
• Aid rural hospitals with your expertise

Requirements:

• Current certifications in PALS, ATLS, and ACLS
• Commitment of 1.0 FTE hours
• Willingness to participate in shared call
• Experience in managing complex patient care
• Ability to fulfill administrative duties as assigned
