Junior Accounting Clerk (Vancouver)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Trust & Billing Administrator. This is a critical role within a busy professional services environment, responsible for processing all trust transactions and billing requests with accuracy and efficiency.

This is a fully in-office position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

What You'll Be Doing

• Process daily trust transactions including fund receipts, cheque preparation, and account transfers

• Monitor firm bank accounts and perform regular trust and general account reconciliations

• Wire funds and manage interest-bearing accounts and term deposits

• Handle all aspects of client billing, including regular departmental billing, bi-monthly institutional invoicing, e-billing backup, and write-offs

• Manage and reconcile petty cash

• Ensure all financial activities meet applicable regulatory requirements

• Support the front desk with reception coverage when needed

• Take on additional responsibilities as your role grows

What We're Looking For

• At least two years of accounting or finance experience

• Strong communicator who works well with colleagues and clients alike

• Highly organized, with sharp attention to detail and efficient data entry skills

• Comfortable managing competing priorities and working independently

• Eager to learn and take on new challenges over time

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $45,000 – $57,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
