Accountant - Cash Accounting

About the Opportunity

· Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger

· Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections follow-up

· Review expenses of 130+ expenses reports, audit and conformity with expense policy

· Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and adjusting entries

· Support budgeting and forecasting activities

· Respond to audit requests and prepare supporting documentation

· Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant standards (ASPE/IFRS, as applicable)

· Identify and correct discrepancies in financial records

· Maintain organized, audit-ready financial files and documentation

About You

·2+ years of junior accounting experience

· Strong excel (Pivots, vlookups), and high volume experience

· Understanding of debits and credits

Pay Range

$25 - $28 per hour
