Our office in  Niagara Falls, ON, is looking for a Tool Crib Attendant to join our team. 

Summary of the Role

Reporting to the Fleet, Tool and Equipment Manager, the Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for staging orders, loading and unloading trucks, order fulfillment and returns, and maintaining an accurate inventory. 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage orders for upcoming deliveries.
• Load and unload both company and external trucks - must be an experienced forklift operator.
• Fill tool and equipment orders and requisitions for shops and jobsites – this includes material handling and possible lifting of up to 50lbs.
• Document, inspect and return tools and equipment to inventory for future use.
• Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of all tools and equipment and clean work area.
• Ensure responsibilities and accountabilities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with E.S. Fox Limited safety policy/procedures, ISO 18001 standards and OHSA requirements.
• Ensure that environmental aspects within his/her sphere of responsibility are adhered to pursuant to ISO 14001 requirements.

Key Requirements, Experience and Skills

• Knowledge of construction trades, tools, and equipment is a specific requirement for this position. 
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are required. 
• Must possess experience safely operating a Forklift.
• WHIMIS/safety trained.
• Experience in data entry and information retrieval using a computer.
• Possess current and valid Driver's license.
• Previous experience in a construction-based environment is an asset.
