Civil Engineering Principal Designer

Shape the future of civil engineering as a Principal Designer with Worley in Markham, Ontario. Bring your Civil 3D and AutoCAD expertise to lead innovative designs for vital infrastructure projects. In this senior position, you will manage the preparation of detailed civil drawings focusing on site development, stormwater management, and utility design. You will mentor less experienced designers while ensuring integration across engineering disciplines. Effective communication and technical support will be crucial for project team success. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop civil earthwork plans and models
- Mentor junior and intermediate designers
- Collaborate with Civil/Structural engineering teams
- Carry out necessary site visits for design verification
- Generate civil Material Take-Offs and as-built drawings
- Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Leadership ability in managing project teams
- High-level problem-solving skills
- Experience with design specifications and calculations
