HOSTS and HOSTESSES needed for CIBO Wine Bar at King Street W

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests at Cibo Wine Bar on King Street.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about hospitality. This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently
• Escorting guests to their tables and providing menus
• Maintaining an organized seating chart and coordinating with servers
• Answering phone calls, managing reservations, and responding to guest inquiries
• Ensuring the entrance and host stand are clean, organized, and presentable
• Assisting with guest flow to maintain a smooth dining experience
• Handling guest concerns with professionalism and escalating when necessary
• Performing other duties as assigned by management to support daily operations and team success

Qualifications

• 1 year experience hosting or customer service 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Must be legally able to work in Canada
