Open Water Catering is currently looking for a Front of House Manager to join our team!
We are one of Vancouver Island's Premier Catering companies that specializes in a wide variety of service styles. Our cuisine range is vast, as every event is unique.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, experienced, motivated, and work well in a team environment. We are looking for a weekend warrior as the shifts are primarily Friday to Sunday with potential to gain more hours during the week. Our schedule is dynamic and varies depending on the events we cater to.

**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Front of House Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient functioning for all catered events.
**Duties:**
- Weekly meetings with operations manager to collaborate on flow of event
- Manage daily operations in the front of the house
- Train and supervise staff on customer service standards
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience
**Skills:**
**Required Skills:**
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of food handling and safety protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff
- Experience in team management
- Full unobstructed driving licence and own car
**Nice-to-Have Skills:**
- Bartending experience
- Background in hospitality industry
