Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (RIBO Licensed)

Wanted: Licensed RIBO Customer Service Representative

Location: Brampton

Sound Insurance is looking for a CSR for our Brampton Branch. As a Customer Service Representative, your primary focus will be a combination of servicing existing customers as well as binding new business referrals. The successful candidate must be willing to work Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and thrive in a self-motivated environment. This position is a client-facing role, and requires you to have excellent communication skills including good telephone mannerism.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle renewals and assisting existing clients with insurance policy changes, cancellations and claims transactions.
• Meet client's needs effectively, while advising and educating in order to ensure the client's complete satisfaction and retention.
• Educates and advises our clients on various insurance products and coverages while adhering to the company's underwriting policies.
• Must be able to learn underwriting guidelines of various insurance companies and guidelines of our brokerage.
• Audit and review applications submitted by producers to ensure they are adhering to brokerage guidelines.
• Support producers by obtaining information from client and doing new business quotes.
• Co-ordinate, follow up and maintain clientele records and documentation
• Maintain filing system in accordance to brokerage guidelines.
• Any other work assigned by principles will be handles by the CSR.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of service experience in an insurance brokerage with a focus on personal lines

• RIBO License is mandatory or have passed the RIBO exam (please say yes to question about RIBO licence)
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Prior experience with TAM - Agency Manager and Compu-Quote an asset
• Proficient in MS Word and Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow-up on uncompleted tasks in a timely manner
• Preparing pink slips, binders, certificate of insurance, processing memos on TAM

Salary: $40,000 + $45,000 depending on experience

Compensation to be discussed and dependent on experience.
