Infrastructure Design Engineering Technician

Elevate municipal infrastructure projects as an Engineering Technician focused on design and inspections. This role involves reviewing engineering drawings for roads and bridges while ensuring compliance and quality in construction. In this vital position, you will assist with field data analysis and construction reviews for capital projects. Your expertise in surveying, drafting, and inspections will support the city’s road, bridge, and sidewalk reconstructions. The ideal candidate has a diploma in Civil Engineering and a minimum of two years of related experience. Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze field construction reports for accuracy
• Conduct surveys and inspections for capital projects
• Review geotechnical consultant findings
• Examine upgrades to water and sewer systems
• Maintain accurate municipal infrastructure records Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Total Station Surveys
• Effective written communication skills
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence Apply your engineering skills while contributing to the community's infrastructure projects.
