Parts Technician

Job Responsibility:

Farrell Mechanical Sales Inc (FMSI) located in Edmonton, AB. Is a small, family-owned company with over 40 years of experience specializing in technical sales for commercial-scale heating and humidification equipment. In our manufacturer-designated sales territory of northern Alberta, we are dedicated to providing quality care and expertise to our customers. We are looking to expand our team with a dedicated and hardworking parts technician .

As a Parts Technician, you will be responsible for managing inventory, ordering parts for stock, and ensuring customers receive the correct parts based on existing equipment needs. You will work closely with our team to ensure that parts are accurately selected, organized, and delivered in a timely fashion.

Keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role. The candidate will be proficient in the English Language, a resident of Alberta, have excellent oral communication and efficient interpersonal skills. Punctual. Reliable. Able to navigate and use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Basic math skills. Timely responsiveness to customers. Ability to answer phones and emails pertaining to parts requests. Get items on and off shelves (crouching, lifting goods, carrying goods up and down one flight of stairs to/from reception area or warehouse to/from stock room - up to 50lbs).

:

- Communicate using telephone and/or email related to parts requests/inquiries

- Manage and maintain inventory of parts (ensuring optimal stock levels)

- Receive, organize, and store incoming parts

- Order parts from suppliers, ensuring timely delivery for customers/stock

- Advise customers on requested or required parts based on their existing heating and humidification equipment and needs

- Sell replacement parts

- Assist with the return of defective or incorrect parts to suppliers.

- Prepare and organize parts for orders, shipments, and customer needs.

- Relay orders to admin/reception so they may create invoices for customers.

- Create and submit parts orders to FMSI manufacturers in order to replenish stock and supply customers with required goods (inventory control, warehousing).

- Provide excellent customer service, answering inquiries related to parts availability and order status

- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work space

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
