Field Operations and Remarketing Specialist

Responsibilities for Field Operations:

• Reviewing and Approving Bailiff Assignments:
  • Assess appropriate jurisdiction and issue repossession orders to bailiffs.
  • Review, conduct market research and approve additional costs submitted by bailiffs.

• Monitoring Field Operations Queue:
  • Categorize accounts in the correct sub-queues and regularly audit the queue to ensure compliance with the timing tree.
  • Facilitate timely communication with bailiffs and auctions.
  • Conduct a risk assessment on accounts for further escalation to the Skip Department in a time-sensitive manner.

• Supporting Field Operations Administrator Tasks:
  • Assist the Recovery and Remarketing Administrator during peak workloads.
  • Support warrant issuance and file closure.
  • Aid in processing Notices of Intent (NOIs).
  • Assist with redemptions post-asset seizure and conduct an assessment to determine creditworthiness.

• Collaborating with Manager on Escalations & Process Procedures:
  • Manage challenging cases and seek Manager approval.
  • Collaborate with the legal department to get production orders in challenging situations.
  • Review redemption calls with the Manager.
  • Communicate updates, issues, and solutions to the Manager.
  • Contribute to policy and procedure enhancements.

Responsibilities for Remarketing:

• LMS and Repo Tracker
  • Maintain accurate records by updating case subtypes in LMS as needed.
  • Utilize the repo tracker to identify available Condition Reports and approve keys at auctions.

• Auction Tracker and Documentation:
  • Process vehicle liquidation reports and update auction trackers.
  • Update the CLMS Asset Tab and send bill of sale to the accounting department.
  • Determine appropriate pricing and conduct market assessment for BBV (Blue Book Value) and comparable information on the Auto Tracker
  • Handle invoicing and send documentation and reserves to auctions.

• Discharging and Lien Releases:
  • Determine and discharge or send lien releases to auctions as required.
  • Draft required communication to auctions concerning such sales.
  • Maintain regular communication with vendors.

• Lien Resolution:
  • Collaborate with field operations and contact third parties to remove liens before selling vehicles at auction.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in asset recovery, remarketing, or a related field.
• Knowledge of automotive industry terminology and processes.
• Previous experience in auction management is preferred.
• Proficient in MS office (including pivot tables, v-lookups etc.).
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and time management.

Working conditions

• You have flexible availability to work. Working hours can range anywhere between 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays depending on department requirements.
• Hybrid work model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
