Accounting Manager: 4 month contract position
We have partnered with our client in the Niagara area to secure a hands-on Integration Accounting Manager to act as the primary lead during a critical financial systems transition. In this high-impact role, you will document end-to-end financial and operational workflows, lead the migration away from legacy accounting software, and systematically integrate core accounting functions into central corporate operations while ensuring complete operational continuity.

Responsibilities
Process Mapping & Analysis: Document end-to-end workflows across billing, AR, AP, banking, payroll, month-end close, and job costing; identify key dependencies and automation opportunities.

ERP Migration & Data Reconciliation: Lead the full migration, map the Chart of Accounts and master files, perform GL/AR/AP reconciliations, and direct cutover testing.

Operational Transition: Create clear SOPs, evaluate and transfer daily accounting tasks to central corporate teams, and oversee parallel processing with zero operational downtime.

Qualifications
Designation/Experience: CPA designation or equivalent senior managerial accounting experience with strong operational exposure.

Software Mastery: 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience with migrating legacy ERP systems to modern platforms.

Core Technical Skills: Deep understanding of accounting workflows.

Work Arrangement: On-site presence required to support business operations as needed.
