Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sheet Metal Apprentice to join our team in Winnipeg. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their careers in HVAC and gain hands-on experience in the sheet metal trade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the fabrication, installation, and repair of sheet metal products for HVAC systems.
- Learn and apply safe work practices while using various tools and equipment.
- Follow instructions from experienced sheet metal workers and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure completion of the project.
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in the HVAC industry and sheet metal work.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to follow directions and ask questions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read blueprints is an asset.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- A Growth Mindset: above all, we are looking for individuals who are reliable, driven and eager to develop their skills.
