School Receptionist

Job Responsibility:

St. Jude's Academy is seeking a committed professional to join our team. We are a private school in Mississauga, Ontario. St. Jude's Academy is an authorized IB World school with over 800 students between JK - Grade 12. As staff members, we value collaboration and support all learners to achieve their best.

This position is for: School Receptionist

Job Requirements

• Experience with children
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to providing a friendly, supportive, and welcoming environment
• Clear vulnerable sector check (within six months)
• First aid training is preferred

• Point of contact for students, staff, parents, and visitors
• Answer phone calls and emails
• Greet visitors and ensure that school access is secure
• Ensure late arriving students are signed in/early departing students are signed out
• Maintain and update school information, records, and databases
• General administrative tasks as assigned
• Administer minor first aid to students (e.g. band aids, ice)
• Other duties as assigned by the Head of School

This position is for 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
