Job Responsibility: Title: Data Center Receptionist

Reporting To: Sr. Director, Data Center Operations

The Role: The Data Center Receptionist is responsible for greeting all clients, visitors, and/or vendors at the front desk and verifying credentials with the online SSA system. You should be able to monitor and action security and building alarms to the correct parties in a timely manner, possess strong communication skills while answering the phone, understand the calls and ensure they are directed to the correct party. You will be part of a strong team working with and reporting into the Data Center Operations group.

This is a full-time position to be based on-site at our Data Center location in Mississauga, ON.

What You'll Do:

• Process phone traffic and control lobby entry.
• Check SSA/Verify ID/ Assign card access badges accordingly.
• Monitor and escalate all security and building alarms/breaches.
• Monitor CCTV for unusual activity.
• Perform daily/monthly, quarterly audits for Card Access badges, keys,
• Accept and deliver incoming mail,
• Accept all deliveries through the S+R application. (Front desk and loading dock)
• Arrange shipping pick-ups.
• Reserve conference rooms bookings.
• Work with the Sales team for booking tours and lunches.
• Work with internal and external auditors for security controls.
• Able to multitask between front desk and Shipping.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11's Code of Business Ethics and Company Values
• Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies
• Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements
• Additional duties as assigned

Who You Are & What You'll Bring:

• Minimum 4 years working in an office environment.
• Strong Communication skills. (verbal and written)
• Ability to learn new procedures.
• Computer proficient. (email, Excel, Word)
• Works well in a team environment.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without visa sponsorship
• Must be able to work overtime if needed.
