Senior Attorney - IT Law and Contracts

Become a key player at IBM as a Senior Attorney focusing on IT Law. This bilingual position in Markham requires negotiation of intricate contracts and legal guidance across Canada. You will integrate into the Legal & Regulatory Affairs team, providing essential legal support in various areas such as intellectual property and privacy. As an experienced attorney, you will not only draft and negotiate complex contracts but also navigate the legal landscape to advise IBM leadership on compliance and risk management. Bilingual proficiency is essential for this collaborative role. Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate technology contracts
Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance
Support IBM’s business objectives through strategic guidance
Conduct thorough reviews of supplier contracts and practices
Facilitate teamwork to deliver legal solutions efficiently

Requirements:

Fluent in French and English
At least 5 years of IT Law experience
Licensed to practice law in Quebec or Ontario
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Skilled in Microsoft Word for contract revisions
