Administrative Assistant Sales

Job Responsibility:

Summary:

The experienced and well-organized Administrative Assistant for the Sales Department, will provide the necessary support to the Food Services Team. The successful candidate will become the point of contact for colleagues and customers alike.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate sales team activities, by managing schedules, arranging meetings, utilizing Monday.com, ordering food, and making travel plans.

Monitor Po's/Sales/Inventory for various chain account customers.

Handle Samples - Request product, label, pack and ship if necessary & Sample log tracking.

Perform Foodservice and Retail audits for the sales team as needed.

Assemble reports when required. These to include:

  • Maintain weekly “ Priority Log “ for VP
  • Prepare Internal Sales reports/Spreadsheets as required
  • Customer Business reviews
  • Power point presentations
  • Coordinate Sales reports from Field reps & consolidate into one report
  • Annual budget preparation
  • Monitor customer concerns, product complaints, identify shortcomings, and propose improvements.
  • Assist with managing shortfalls with internal customer service and customer replenishment teams.
  • Act as liaison with Marketing on items such as POS requests, market information, and any related requests

Manage/monitor Foodservice projects once the project has been approved:

  • Ensure that all required documentation is entered (i.e. product specs, pictures, target price, volume etc).
  • Follow up on project progress and enter updates.
  • Ongoing review/maintenance of National Chain pricing in order to ensure that there is no deviation.

Help manage internal forecasting with internal customer service and sales team.

Valid Drivers License and Reliable Vehicle for travel to customers to deliver samples and do store audits.

Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events.

Greet visitors and provide refreshments to them.

Maintain and monitor VP Calendar.

This position is full time and in the office.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years administration experience.
  • 1-2 years sales experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross functional team environment internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical, planning, presentation, and problem solving.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to track tasks and complete priority lists.
  • Clean driving abstract.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
