Bilingual Plan Design Specialist

Our client, a top insurance client in Canada is looking to hire Bilingual Plan Design Specialist for their team with a contract for 6 Months with potential extension or conversion to Permanent based on performance. Hybrid - 3 days in Toronto Office. Job Responsibilities: Reporting to the Manager of Plan Setup & Documentation, the Plan Design Specialist is primarily responsible for setting up plans and creating documentation based on data and established procedures. This role requires a high level of attention to detail to ensure compliance with internal processes and regulations set by federal and provincial pension authorities. The responsibilities of this position vary in complexity and include the following accountabilities: Plan set up: o Set up plans and policies on the administrative system with a high degree of quality. o Ensure all setups adhere to company procedures and regulatory requirements. o Collaborate with relevant departments to gather necessary information for plan setup. Documentation Creation: o Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for each plan, ensuring clarity and completeness. o Create contractual documents and websites pertaining to the policies. o Update existing documentation as needed to reflect changes in procedures or regulations. o Ensure all documentation meets compliance standards set by federal and provincial pension authorities. o Liaison with business areas supporting the project Collaboration and Communication: o Collaborate with plan design subject matter experts, team members, and other project resources. o Provide open and honest feedback to the project team. o Actively participate in team discussions, trainings, and meetings. o Proactively seek information and clarity when questions arise. o Solicit feedback from team members. Required Qualifications:

• Bilingual (French/English)
• Knowledge of Canadian Retirement products and Manulife products
• Experience in Operations
• Education: College diploma or equivalent business experience.

Soft Skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently in a rapidly changing environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in data entry.
• Comfortable writing and responding to emails, and handling inquiries from clients.
