POSITION: Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist & HR Generalist

LOCATION: Hybrid - GTA West



MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies.


We are recruiting on behalf of a global privately owned corporation and they are on the hunt for a French/English Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their collaborative Canadian HR team.


This will be a blended role combines full-cycle recruitment with hands-on HR generalist and HR operations duties, helping to shape a positive employee experience from first contact to long-term success.



This is a hybrid position requiring 1-2 days in office/week based on proximity to head office located in GTA West area.



MUST be fully bilingual (French/English) - both written and verbal.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for both bilingual and non-bilingual roles across Canada with a focus on sales and leadership positions.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies to build strong candidate pipelines and enhance the employer brand.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and guide effective hiring decisions.
• Manage onboarding, reference checks, and candidate experience initiatives.
• Support HR systems and processes including HRIS updates, reporting, and benefits administration.
• Contribute to HR projects that improve efficiency, data integrity, and team operations.
• Be a culture ambassador — fostering inclusion, engagement, and alignment with company values.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST be fully bilingual (French/English) - both written and verbal.
• 5+ years of experience in high-volume recruitment ideally within sales or field-based environments - recruitment experience both on agency side and corporate HR side preferred.
• Post-secondary education in HR or related discipline; CHRP designation (or in progress) is an asset.
• Experience with HRIS systems and/or benefits administration.
• Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.

• Base salary (negotiable based on experience level)
