Outside Sales Representative - Commercial & Industrial HVAC

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will promote custom HVAC solutions to commercial and industrial clients, and deal with engineers and architects clients within the territory of Sudbury Ontario. You will be responsible for developing and managing a new business territory. This position includes a salary of $70,000 - $75,000 with commissions and a lot of other perks!

THE LOCATION
- The office is located in Markham, ON
- The sales territory is to cover Sudbury Ontario and its surrounding area
- This is an Outside Sales role with a few days a week in the office required during the training period
THE PRODUCT/SERVICE
- Custom HVAC solutions
- Cooling Towers, chillers, heaters, heat pumps, ventilators
PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS
- Engineering firms within the territory
- Commercial and industrial clients
PRODUCT & SALES CYCLE
- The average order value is $150K - $300K
- The sales cycle is from 3 to 9 months
TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES
- Account Management: 25% for the first year
- New Business Development: 60% for the first year
- Preparing Quotation, RFPs - admin related - 15%
Lead Sources:
- Warm Leads Supplied: 25%
- List Supplied: 75%
SUPPORT & TRAINING
- Technical Training
- On the Job
- Mentorship/Shadowing
- Off-Site Training
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
- 1+ years minimum experience in Inside Sales/Outside Sales
- HVAC industry experience preferred
- An engineering degree is preferred
EDUCATION
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering, and other related Engineering fields
