If this describes you, then you could be a Logistics Coordinator in Science North's Outreach Department! This role, in the STEM Engagement unit, is responsible for supporting Outreach operations by coordinating with clients to sell/offer outreach programs and schedule visits in schools, libraries, First Nation communities, and public events. The Outreach Logistics Coordinator will complete contracts, plan details of trips, book accommodations, communicate with clients to ensure all needs are met and follow up on program evaluations. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with public outreach clients, schools, to book outreach experiences across Northern Ontario
- Complete outreach contracts for client signing
- Respond to any client customer service needs and inquiries
- Plan details of outreach trips including travel schedules, accommodations, and booking information
- Coordinate booking information with outreach staff in Sudbury, Thunder Bay, and Sault Ste Marie
- Record outreach program statistic and evaluation information
What you bring: - Proven experience as a coordinator
- Sales and services skills and experience
- Excellent time management skills and superior aptitude for problem solving
- Outstanding clerical/administrative skills with superior attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience with computers and data entry
- Exceptional customer service skills and service mindset
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and French (required)
- A positive and fun attitude with demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
This role can be based out of our offices in either Sudbury, Sault Ste Marie, or Thunder Bay and requires predominantly onsite work, Monday to Friday, with occasional need for evening and weekend work. Compensation Highlights: - Full-time permanent opportunity
