Job Responsibility:
VKO LLP Chartered Professional Accountants is looking for a new graduate or first year CPA articling student to join our team. We are an Edmonton based accounting firm providing professional services to owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organizations. At VKO LLP, you will be part of a growing team and work alongside partners, managers and other articling students to advance your career.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all aspects of compilation, review and audit engagements
- Prepare personal, corporate and trust tax returns
- Complete other filings as required including GST returns, T4's and T5's
- Communicate with clients and assist clients as needed
Requirements:
- Admission requirements for the CPA program must be met or currently enrolled in the program.
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
