Finance and Accounting Manager

Job Responsibility:
The Finance and Accounting Manager will be responsible for the overall development and management of TerraPro entity financials and financial processes.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare accurate and timely consolidated and business unit monthly financials in accordance.
- Lead, mentor, and oversee the performance of the finance team.
- Review existing financial and administrative business processes, practices and internal controls with the objective of improving efficiency and effectiveness. Design and implement improvements as necessary.
- Responsible for financial reporting and analysis, including the preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial statements, as well as year-end audit working papers.
- Collaborate with the executive and management team to lead budget and forecasting processes, interpret financial results, and report accounting information to key stakeholders.
- Responsible for review of regulatory filings and remittances (WCB, GST/PST etc.).
- Liaise, as required, with external parties including auditors, banks, CRA.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree in Business or a related field
- 3-5+ years accounting and management experience
- Full-cycle accounting
- CPA designation an asset
- SAP Business one ERP experience an asset
- ·Power BI and UKG experience an asset
