Principal Director - Business Insurance (P&C)

Location: Montreal – South Shore / North Shore and Downtown

Compensation Package: $150,000 – $180,000

Remote Work: 2 days per week

A historic Quebec brokerage with approximately 300 employees that has experienced strong growth in recent years, notably driven by the structure and leadership implemented by the executive team. They have an excellent employee retention rate and offer some of the best training programs in brokerage, service, and sales.

Hiring Context

In the current soft market, the firm has decided to invest in strengthening its leadership team to stand out and further solidify its market position. We are therefore seeking a leader with strong technical insurance expertise, as well as strategic vision and the ability to inspire teams.

The Role

You will be responsible for a team of 30 to 40 people, primarily made up of Commercial Insurance Account Directors.

Two managers will report directly to you.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Business development strategy
• Implementing new insurance programs to enhance the firm’s market positioning
• Compliance policy, which is a central pillar of the organization
• Training and coaching mid-market & large accounts teams
