The role of Customs Analyst involves developing commodity strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will support the Transportation and Customs team in identifying best practices for business strategies while leveraging your strong analytical skills for cost optimization projects. This position requires leadership in compliance audits and training business units on Incoterms. Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contracts and maintain supplier relationships
- Lead CTPAT/PIP/CSA audits and compliance initiatives
- Revise customs classifications and oversee procurement processes
- Provide decision support to senior management
- Develop and execute compliance procedures for imports/exports
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
- 10-15 years of strategic manufacturing experience
- Strong negotiation and analytical abilities
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
- Knowledge of aerospace industry customs regulations
