Billing and Purchasing Clerk

Job Responsibility:

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing and Billing Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating purchase orders, managing invoices, handling billing discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and timely billing processes.

Responsibilities:

- Generate and send out invoices to customers

- Review billing for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies

- Process payments and refunds

- Maintain billing records and documentation

- Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries

- Create and send purchase orders - Enter and pay Suppliers bills

- Reconciling Month End Supplier statements

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in billing or accounting preferred

- Proficiency in Quickbooks

- Basic mathematics skills to compare prices from different vendors and monitor purchase orders and deliveries for discrepancies.

- Knowledge of word processing programs and spreadsheets, electronic calendars, web-based research programs, and financial management software.

- Ability to identify the tasks that are most time-sensitive or of the greatest importance and adjusts schedules accordingly

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
