Your new role  

• As Heavy Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you will take on a hands-on leadership position overseeing a team of 4–6 mechanics and apprentices. 

• This is a working supervisor role where you will be actively involved in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance while coordinating daily shop activities. 

• You will be responsible for delegating work, supporting scheduling and planning, and ensuring maintenance is completed safely and efficiently. 

• The role also involves promoting a safety-first culture, maintaining shop organization, and using CMMS (Maximo) for work order tracking and reporting.

What you'll need to succeed  

• To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience supervising heavy equipment maintenance teams within an industrial environment. 

• A 421A Heavy Equipment Technician certification (or Red Seal) is considered a strong asset. You have solid knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, along with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. 

• You are comfortable working in a hands-on capacity, balancing leadership with technical responsibilities. Strong communication skills, leadership presence, and a willingness to work alongside your team are essential. 

• Prior experience with CMMS systems is an asset.
