Speedwork Social is a specialist B2B paid media agency. We run LinkedIn, Google and Meta ads for B2B software and technology companies, and we take LinkedIn Ads more seriously than anyone else. Our founder, Anthony Blatner, is a Top 50 LinkedIn Certified Marketing Expert, a LinkedIn Learning instructor, and host of LinkedIn Ads Radio.

We're hiring a Paid Media Strategist to own a portfolio of 10 to 20 client engagements. You set the strategy, lead the client relationship, and direct the work of our ad operations and creative teams, so every account hits its numbers and every client wants to keep working with us.

What the work actually looks like

• Leading client syncs and quarterly business reviews with client marketing leaders.
• Building campaign strategies: audiences, offers, funnels and budget allocation across LinkedIn, Google and Meta.
• Making sure leads route correctly into each client's CRM, and optimizing for pipeline and customers, not just cheap leads.
• Reviewing builds and weekly reports from Ad Ops, and writing the insights and recommendations.
• Spotting expansion opportunities, such as adding Google, Meta or organic social for single-channel clients.
• Using AI to speed up analysis, reporting and strategy work.
• Briefing and reviewing ad copy and creative before it goes to the client.
• Getting hands-on for complex fixes, or when something breaks.
• Bringing new ideas and tests back to the team, and improving our playbooks.

The three things you must be excellent at

1. Strategy that drives performance. You know why an account is underperforming and what to change, across channels.
2. Client leadership. You run the meeting, earn trust, say the hard things, and keep clients for the long term.
3. Directing the work. You brief clearly, review carefully, and get creative approved in one round.

You're probably a fit if

• You have 4+ years in B2B paid media, including 2+ years owning client relationships at an agency.
• You're hands-on enough to QA a campaign build and diagnose an account yourself.
• You have strong LinkedIn Ads experience, along with Google Ads and Meta Ads.
• You write clearly and present confidently to VPs and Directors of Marketing.
• You can name an account you turned around and exactly what you changed.
• You use AI tools in your daily work, and you're curious about where they can save time or improve results.
• You're active on LinkedIn and follow the paid media space closely.
• You're based in the United States or Canada.

Nice to have

• HubSpot, Salesforce or other CRM experience, including offline conversions
• ABM tools and list-based targeting
• Looker Studio reporting

You're probably not a fit if

• You've moved away from the ad accounts and want to stay away.
• You prefer working behind the scenes over leading client conversations.

How success is measured

• Clients stay with us past 12 months.
• Accounts hit their cost-per-lead and pipeline targets.
• Creative is approved by the client in one round of edits.
• Accounts grow through added channels or budget.

Compensation and details

• $7,100 to $8,300/month retainer (about $85,000 to $100,000/year), based on experience. Paid in USD.
• 1099 contract, about 40 hours/week, remote. Available for meetings during US business hours.
• You'll work within our established process using ClickUp, Slack, Looker Studio, Zapier and Claude.
