You are excited by the opportunity to develop next-generation cloud and web technologies that support Caregiver by Cognitive our Wi-Fi sensing platform for aging in place. You bring strong technical skills sound judgment and a willingness to take ownership as we build practical scalable solutions for real-world deployment.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Develop maintain and improve full-stack web applications that support Caregiver and related platform capabilities.
• Design build and maintain REST APIs and services.
• Work with a variety of database technologies including relational time-series and messaging-based systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineers product managers and data scientists to design and deliver new product features.
• Improve internal tools monitoring systems automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to the reliability scalability and performance of cloud-based systems.
• Participate in technical discussions code reviews and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

WHAT YOULL NEED

• A bachelors degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in a software developer role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and .
• Strong proficiency in front-end development particularly .
• Hands-on experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Experience working with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Experience with PostgreSQL message brokers and time-series databases.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Vitest.
• Experience using Git version control and working in Agile environments with tools such as JIRA.
• A team-oriented mindset strong communication skills and a willingness to take ownership and drive solutions forward.

BONUS POINTS FOR

• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Python.
• Experience with large-scale IoT platforms using MQTT.
• Experience building products or platforms that support smart home connected care health technology or large-scale device deployments.
