Executive Assistant for an Accounting Firm

Medicine Hat, Alberta

Brittany Hutchings is a Principal within EBT Chartered Professional Accountants and she is looking for a long term Executive Assistant to support her rapidly growing accounting practice.

Description

• Supporting the Principal across a broad range of duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the accounting practice,
• Acting as primary contact for scheduling,
• Managing workflows and deadlines,
• Managing emails and correspondence,
• Corresponding with clients and staff professionally while also building relationships,
• Drafting meeting agendas, preparing meeting materials, documenting follow up notes,
• Creating templates and procedures while coming up with your own unique ideas for improvements,
• A variety of other duties not listed. This is a new role so we will work together to choose the duties that best suit the Executive Assistant's skills.

Skills & Qualifications

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, taking ownership of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines,
• Focus on details, on continuous improvement, and a willingness to own outcomes,
• Mastery of professional communication in English (verbal and written), with conscientiousness of how your communication may be interpreted by the other party,
• Mandatory proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knack for learning other software easily,
• Having experience as an executive assistant is a strong asset, as is experience in the field of public accounting.
