Executive Assistant for an Accounting Firm
Medicine Hat, Alberta
Brittany Hutchings is a Principal within EBT Chartered Professional Accountants and she is looking for a long term Executive Assistant to support her rapidly growing accounting practice.
Description
- Supporting the Principal across a broad range of duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the accounting practice,
- Acting as primary contact for scheduling,
- Managing workflows and deadlines,
- Managing emails and correspondence,
- Corresponding with clients and staff professionally while also building relationships,
- Drafting meeting agendas, preparing meeting materials, documenting follow up notes,
- Creating templates and procedures while coming up with your own unique ideas for improvements,
- A variety of other duties not listed. This is a new role so we will work together to choose the duties that best suit the Executive Assistant's skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, taking ownership of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines,
- Focus on details, on continuous improvement, and a willingness to own outcomes,
- Mastery of professional communication in English (verbal and written), with conscientiousness of how your communication may be interpreted by the other party,
- Mandatory proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knack for learning other software easily,
- Having experience as an executive assistant is a strong asset, as is experience in the field of public accounting.
