Senior Project Manager, Highways (Thornhill)

Opportunity

Senior Project Manager – Transportation – Highways group. Lead complex MTO design assignments, including highway components of major P3 and alternative delivery projects.

Locations: London, Mississauga, Thornhill, Kingston, or Ottawa (Ontario).

Responsibilities

• Deliver highway design solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects that improve safety and efficiency across Ontario.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of MTO projects, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality standards to meet client expectations and project milestones.
• Collaborate with clients, agencies, and partners to align project goals with community needs.
• Drive proposal development and cost estimates for high-profile projects, including P3 and alternative delivery models.
• Mentor and guide engineers and coordinators, fostering knowledge transfer and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Canada (Ontario preferred) with a Civil Engineering degree.
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing complex transportation projects, including MTO highway design and P3 delivery models.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and navigate strategic decision‑making.
• Expertise in project scheduling tools and contract documentation.
• Passion for shaping sustainable transportation solutions that make a real difference.

Compensation

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $147,500 – $195,400

MB & ON: $134,600 – $184,600

Atlantic Provinces & QC: $133,200 – $176,900
