WSP Senior OCS Design Engineer

Become a Senior OCS Design Engineer at WSP, focusing on delivering electrification systems for rail projects throughout Canada. Your expertise will steer the design and integration of OCS elements into broader rail infrastructure. As part of the Rail & Transit team, you'll apply your 10+ years of specialized experience in OCS design to lead complex projects while ensuring adherence to safety and engineering standards. Your role will involve collaboration with various engineering disciplines, leading to robust and safe rail electrification solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mechanical loading and clearance verification calculations
• Prepare plan and profile designs using MicroStation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for effective integration
• Develop technical specifications and construction drawings
• Validate engineering documentation and ensure compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, electrical preferred
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario or eligible
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in OCS or electrification
• Strong knowledge of relevant electrification standards (AREMA, CSA)
• Proficient with industry-specific software and tools
