Senior Regulatory Specialist in Surrey

Join ENKON Environmental Ltd. as a Senior Regulatory Specialist/Aquatic Biologist in Surrey. Lead impactful projects in environmental management while benefiting from flexible hybrid work arrangements. ENKON is seeking an experienced professional with 5 to 10 years in aquatic biology and project management. This role focuses on permitting and regulatory approvals within British Columbia. You will communicate effectively with clients while leading assessments and mentoring your team. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multidisciplinary projects with the environmental team
- Report environmental impact assessments to regulatory agencies
- Secure approvals from DFO and FLNRORD
- Analyze data and provide project-specific recommendations
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing needs
- Degree in Aquatic Biology or related field
- R.P. Bio registration in BC
- 10 years of consulting experience in aquatic settings
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation
- Valid BC driver’s license for fieldwork
