Hybrid Senior Software Developer in Test

Contribute to software quality assurance at SOTI as a Senior Software Developer in Test (SDET) in Mississauga, Ontario. This hybrid position emphasizes building robust automated testing frameworks. As a valued team member in the Quality Assurance division, you will create, design, and maintain automated testing frameworks while ensuring software reliability. Work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to craft automated tests that validate functionality and performance, ultimately enhancing product quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Design automated testing frameworks for UI, API, and backend
- Collaborate with teams to derive test strategies for products
- Develop automated tests to ensure software reliability
- Oversee integration of tests into CI/CD processes
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior QA staff
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
- 4+ years in software development or test automation
- Proficient in programming languages like Java or JavaScript
- Experience with JUnit, Selenium, or similar
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or CircleCI
