AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work

Responsibilities

• Desk research, literature review, summary of findings, organization and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Must be a senior undergraduate student (3rd year or above, or currently graduating) at the University of Ottawa, preferably in one of the following programme anthropology, sociology, interdisciplinary studies, psychology.

• Must be familiar or have strong interests in research on social inequalities and African or diasporic contexts.

• Native or bilingual fluency (C2) in both English and French is mandatory. Demonstrated experience utilizing remote collaborative platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Outlook) and managing independent workloads.
