Personal Care Worker/Continuing Care Aide

Autumn House Independent Living Facility is currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team as a Personal Care Worker (PCW)/ Continuing Care Aide on a casual basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time position. .

Position Summary
The PCW/CCA provides support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, independence, comfort and safety within our home-like environment.

Key Responsibilities
Resident care and hygiene
Health monitoring
Medication support
Safety and Infection Control
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation
Ensure a clean, safe and respectful environment
Work collaboratively with Residence, Supporters, families, other staff and health care agencies

Qualifications
Personal Care Worker Certificate and Medication Module (training can be provided)
Continuing Care Aide Certificate(preferred)
First Aid CPR-C
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual and professional
Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to employment
