Aramark is currently seeking a General Help employee for the Hydro-Québec food service operation in Québec City.
Position: General Help
Location: Hydro-Québec (2625 Boulevard Lebourgneuf, Québec, QC G2C 1S2)
Salary: $18.00 per hour
Schedule / Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Start Date: Immediate
Job Responsibilities
- Perform general food preparation duties in the kitchen.
- Complete daily mise en place and workstation setup.
- Assist with lunch service.
- Operate the cash register.
- Stock and replenish refrigerators.
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties.
- Help receive and put away orders and deliveries.
- Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Participate in the general cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen.
- Follow all established safety regulations and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry (asset).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Customer service oriented.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset, as some of our clients are English-speaking.

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete and successfully pass a criminal background check and, if required by the operation, a Vulnerable Sector Screening. If hired, employment with Aramark will be conditional upon Aramark's satisfactory review of the results of these background checks.
