Poste - Producteur Chef

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un·e Producteur·trice Chef expérimenté·e pour rejoindre notre équipe. En tant que Producteur·trice Chef, vous agirez comme product owner pour nos équipes multidisciplinaires. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe de création de contenu, les expert·e·s techniques et les directeur·trice·s de contenu afin de fournir des produits de haute qualité. Vous gérerez notre équipe audio et effets spéciaux, vous respecterez les délais des projets et collaborerez avec le directeur de production et l'équipe de direction pour établir les meilleures pratiques en matière de production. L'étendue du mandat évoluera au fur et à mesure que le projet progressera dans son cycle de production.

  • relèvera du directeur de la production.

Responsabilités et tâches

  • Planifier les produits livrables avec les producteurs·trices, les chef·fe·s de projet et les directeur·trice·s. Valider les feuilles de route des projets, leur faisabilité et tenir les parties prenantes informées, conscientes des risques et des compromis. Diriger le développement tout au long du cycle de vie du projet.
  • Formuler et suivre la collaboration et les processus mis en place autour de la direction, de la production et du développement afin d'assurer une livraison optimale et une cohésion au sein de l'équipe.
  • Superviser et encadrer directement les producteurs·trices qui vous sont rattachés afin de faire avancer les sujets complexes. Vous êtes responsable de l'évaluation de leurs performances, de leur évolution de carrière et de leur accompagnement, tout en veillant à leur bien-être.
  • Communiquer de manière claire, régulière et en temps opportun afin de garantir l'engagement des équipes et des principales parties prenantes et la bonne compréhension des objectifs de production.
  • Rencontrer régulièrement le·la producteur·trice exécutif, le·la directeur·trice de production et les autres producteurs·trices principaux·ales afin de s'assurer que le travail de votre équipe est en phase avec la vision globale du jeu, de coordonner les dépendances et de mettre en œuvre les meilleures pratiques.
  • Participer au processus de recrutement ; mener des entretiens, évaluer les compétences, l'expérience et la compatibilité des candidat·e·s avec l'équipe et la culture de l'organisation.
  • Agir en tant que personne de référence et gérer des projets spéciaux, en fonction des besoins de production.

Qualifications Recherchées

  • Expérience dans des postes de gestion similaires tels que Producteur·trice, Producteur·trice associé·e, directeur·trice du développement ou autre poste pertinent.
  • Compréhension approfondie des méthodologies de développement, des meilleures pratiques, du cycle de vie de la production, des outils et des processus.
  • Capacité à établir des priorités et à gérer des problèmes opérationnels complexes.
  • Excellentes compétences en leadership, avec une capacité avérée à recruter, développer, guider, responsabiliser et motiver une équipe de production très performante dans un environnement en constante évolution.

Qualifications Souhaitées

  • Expérience de la gestion d'équipes de création de contenu telles que l'audio et les effets spéciaux.
  • Excellentes aptitudes à la communication interpersonnelle et capacité à établir des partenariats à tous les niveaux d'une équipe et d'une organisation.
  • Expérience du lancement et de l'exploitation de jeux live avec une solide compréhension des meilleures pratiques de développement pour les jeux en tant que service.
  • Expérience de la gestion d'équipes dans toutes les phases du cycle de production.
  • Forte volonté de trouver des moyens d'optimiser le processus de développement des jeux.
  • Être à l'aise dans l'ambiguïté, faire preuve de souplesse et d'adaptabilité pour ajuster les plans et les stratégies à mesure que de nouvelles informations sont obtenues ou que les conditions du projet évoluent.

In May 2021, we embarked on a journey to start Haven Studios with a small team and big ambitions. Our goal was to build a studio where we could make the kind of games we’ve always wanted to create – and games we’ve longed to play.

We’ve made amazing progress in a short time thanks to our talented, passionate team and their exceptional contributions. We established a culture at Haven grounded in kindness, adaptability and courage that unlocks creativity. Our first new IP for PlayStation is on track to deliver a AAA competitive action game where players and their crews pull off daring heists and outsmart rival teams with thrill, strategy and agency.

Haven joined the PlayStation Studios family in 2022, and we are on track to build an exclusive new IP for Playstation and grow the first Sony game development team in Canada.

Lead Producer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Producer to join the Haven Studios project team. As a Lead Producer, you will act as an owner of major “sections” of the game. You’ll lead Producers from multi-disciplinary teams, acting as the bridge between the high-level project vision set by Directors and the tactical execution of the development teams. You will work closely with your Producers, technical experts, other Lead Producers and Directors to deliver high quality products and establish production best practices. The Lead Producer will manage the production teams that oversee Maps, World Immersion, Audio&VFX, Self Expression and one co-dev team.

Reporting

The Lead Producer will report to the Executive Producer.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Plan deliverables with Producers, Project Leads and Directors. Validate project roadmaps, feasibility and keep stakeholders informed, aware of risks, and trade-offs. Drive development through the project’s entire lifecycle.
  • Articulate and follow up collaboration and processes in place around Direction, Production and Development to ensure an optimal delivery and cohesion within the team
  • Directly supervise and mentor the Producers who report to you to drive complex topics forward. You are responsible for their performance reviews, career growth, and coaching while looking out for their well-being.
  • Provide clear, timely and regular communication to ensure that the teams and key stakeholders are engaged and production goals are well understood.
  • Regularly meet with the Executive Producer, Production Director and other Lead Producers to ensure your team's work aligns with the global game vision, coordinate dependencies and enforce best practices.
  • Participate in the recruitment process; conduct interviews, evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and compatibility with team and organization culture.
  • Act as a go to person and handle special projects, following production needs.

Experience And Skills Required

  • Experience in similar management positions such as Lead Producer, Senior Producer, Development Director or other relevant position.
  • Deep understanding of development methodologies, best practices, production life cycle, tools and processes.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage complex operational issues.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability to recruit, grow, guide, empower and motivate a highly functioning production team in a fast paced changing environment.
  • Excellent emotional intelligence. Able to deliver feedback with empathy and manage high-pressure situations with a solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing content creation teams such as Maps, World Immersion, Audio & FX.
  • Great interpersonal communication skills with an ability to successfully partner across and at all levels of a team and organization.
  • Experience launching and operating live service games with a solid understanding of development best practices for Games As A Service.
  • Experience managing teams in all phases of the production cycle.
  • Strong desire to find ways to optimize the game development process.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, display flexibility and adaptability to adjust plans and strategies as new information is gained or as project conditions change.
