We are seeking detail-oriented and motivated Operations Officers to join a dynamic Wealth Management back-office operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in processing high-volume financial transactions, specifically managing cash-in and cash-out requests across various internal applications. Operating in a fast-paced, service-level-agreement (SLA) driven environment, you will review documentation for accuracy and ensure seamless internal processing to support wealth management business operations.

Location: Toronto, ON or Markham, ON (Hybrid — 4 days on-site, 1 day remote)
Position Type: 12-Month Contract (Potential for extension or permanent conversion)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, Standard Business Hours (Flexible shifts: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM; overtime options available)

Responsibilities
Process high-volume cash-in and cash-out requests for Wealth Line of Business (LOB) teams accurately within established daily SLAs.
Utilize multiple internal banking applications to review, verify, and complete complex financial transaction requests.
Review incoming financial documents with high accuracy and attention to detail to ensure compliance and precision.
Manage, update, and organize transaction records using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Collaborate effectively with internal partners and team members (no external customer contact required).
Track daily individual performance metrics using SLA performance trackers.

Qualifications
Education: University degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years of operational experience within a bank or financial institution.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel); strong experience managing data and spreadsheets in Excel.
Transaction Experience: Proven background handling high-volume, SLA-driven financial transactions or back-office operations.
Customer Service: Strong background in internal or external customer service within financial services.
