Junior Account Manager (E-commerce)

We’re a full-service DTC e-commerce growth agency headquartered in Toronto, Canada. We help scale Shopify brands from $1M to $25M in annual revenue through paid media, email/retention, creative, social, production, and influencer. Our clients span apparel, wellness, sports, lifestyle, outdoor, and alcohol.
“Impulso” means momentum in Spanish, and that’s what we bring to every account we touch. We’ve doubled our team in the last year and are now building out our Latin America team.
The role
We’re hiring a Junior Account Manager to be the operational backbone of an account pod, supporting 2 to 4 Shopify DTC accounts day to day. You’ll keep projects moving, build in the tools, stay organized across every account, and work with every one of our teams (paid media, email/SMS, social, creative, production, and influencer) to make sure deliverables ship on time.
This is an early-career role designed to grow. Your path leads directly into an account manager seat within 12 to 24 months.
A note on English
Our team works in English, and our documentation is client-facing. Fluent, confident spoken and written English is non-negotiable. You’ll read briefs, write contact reports, and collaborate across our team in English every day.
What you’ll own
- Keeping projects on time and assets organized across 2 to 4 Shopify DTC accounts
- Scheduling client meetings, sending invites, and drafting contact reports after every call
- Compiling draft briefs with client inputs and research for your account manager
- Executing in Klaviyo: building email templates, configuring flows, setting up pop-ups and forms
- Basic Shopify updates: product uploads, copy edits, discount codes, basic theme edits
- Tracking day-to-day deliverables and deadlines in Asana and Airtable, and flagging anything off-plan (timelines, budgets, approvals) to your account manager
- Coordinating handoffs between our paid, email/SMS, social, creative, production, and influencer teams once your account manager has briefed them
- Building weekly dashboards and monthly reports with the team
- Escalating anything complex or strategic to your account manager
What you bring
- Fluent, confident English, both spoken and written.
- 1 to 2+ years of coordination, operations, or digital marketing experience
- An obsession with staying organized and shipping on time. You don’t let things fall through the cracks.
- Comfort learning new tools quickly (Klaviyo, Shopify, Asana, Airtable, Slack, Google Workspace)
- Comfortable using AI tools like Claude every day. Our team runs on Claude and other LLMs.
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Working hours aligned with Toronto: 9am to 5pm ET
Nice to have
- Previous agency, startup, or DTC e-commerce experience
- Hands-on familiarity with Klaviyo or Shopify
- Native Spanish (for collaboration with our founder and the LATAM team)
