Oversee audit engagements and mentor staff as an Assurance Manager with Baker Tilly in Emerald Park, Saskatchewan. Contribute to project success through collaborative leadership and quality results. As an Assurance Manager, you will be pivotal in conducting assurance engagements while helping develop your team's skills. The ideal candidate will have five years in public accounting, with a minimum of three years in assurance. Your leadership and project management abilities will be crucial in resolving client inquiries and driving successful audits. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee assurance engagements thoroughly
- Train and mentor staff on critical accounting functions
- Work closely with management for timely execution
- Address client issues promptly and effectively
- Perform additional accounting functions as required
- CPA or CA designation with five years’ experience
- Proficient in Canadian Auditing Standards
- Strong independent and team collaboration skills
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities
- Sound judgment in handling confidential matters
