FULL TIME ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

: We are now hiring a full-time accounting assistant to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to join a small yet fast-paced firm, where you will assist the team with bookkeeping, tax filings, marketing and other administrative tasks. The company is also involved with real estate and mortgages, so you may get some experience in this area. Of course, you will work within a small team, so you will have the guidance and training you need to be successful.

Requirements and Qualifications :

• A college or university degree is required.
• 2-3 years of public accounting experience is preferred.
• Using source documents to compile financial statements and then prepare tax returns (personal and corporate) after that;
• Client relationship and management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Professionalism.
• Ability to multi-task.

A few additional things to Note:

· This is a in-person role. We are currently not set up to provide hybrid work arrangements.

· A driver license and vehicle are an asset.

· There is parking on site.

· Some evenings and weekends may be required.
