Job Responsibility:
Medical Office Assistant with Ophthalmology Experience (North Burnaby)
Job Qualifications:Experience in Ophthalmology office ASSETExtremely organized, strong communication skills, experience with AccuroExperience as an Ophthalmic technician ASSET
Duties:Answering/triaging phone calls.Triage, manage, and file incoming faxesFile electronic scansScheduling patient appointments
Visual field testing, Intraocular pressure testing (IOP)Assisting other staff and physicians when required
Our ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:Can work well under pressure while maintaining calm and professional demeanorAble to multitask efficiently and perform a variety of tasks in a timely mannerAble to problem solve independentlyExcellent computer skills and experience with scheduling softwareExperience working in an Ophthalmologist's officePlease send your resume and a detailed covering letter explaining why you are the best candidate for this position.
Candidates should be able to manage their tasks independently while also working effectively with other staff.
