Hiring a full-time Lounge and Tasting Room Manager.

As one of the original Craft Distillers in BC, our growth requires a passionate and creative full-time Lounge & Tasting Room Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with all our teams to manage and promote our cocktail lounge & tasting room. This is an opportunity for someone with creative juices and a can-do attitude to build their role and help shape the customer experience of Odd.

The role includes:

• Managing all Front of House operations including bar service, retail sales, tasting and tours, special events and large groups.
• Assisting in marketing activities, including social media support, lounge activity campaigns, newsletter & subscription program promotion, and new product releases.
• A willingness to be featured in social media posts, including videos and photos
• Delivering memorable experiences with guests to promote the Odd Society portfolio of spirits and encourage retail purchases of spirit bottles, merchandise and activities.
• Collaborating with our marketing and sales team to manage our Lounge events, buy-outs, and large groups.
• Assist in the development and delivery of new client experiences including Tasting & Tours, Cocktail Classes, and other events or ideas.
• Handling FOH financial reporting, cost control, labor management and budget tracking.
• Working scheduled bar service shifts and assisting in lounge events.
• Managing, training and developing new team members.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment.

Qualifications:

• Multiple years of cocktail bartending experience.
• Experience in developing and managing front of house or similar event type space.
• Proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Detail oriented, organized, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and alongside others.
• Super creative with innovative ideas and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
