I’m in Oak Bay looking for part-time childcare support for my two children: a curious, energetic 6-year-old girl and a sweet 6-month-old baby boy. Right now, I’m primarily looking for:
- Regular Saturday evening support (approximately 6:30-10:... p.m.)
- Occasional daytime help while I attend appointments or activities
- Occasional evening babysitting so I can attend dance or social events
- Potential for additional regular hours if it’s a good fit
- We value emotional intelligence, communication, creativity, gentleness, and connection.
- We are not a high-screen household.
- We spend a lot of time outdoors gardening, walking, and playing.
- We believe in engaging with children rather than simply supervising them.
- Experience with infants and young children
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Calm, patient, and emotionally regulated
- Reliable and communicative
- Comfortable taking initiative when needed
- Respectful of family rhythms and parenting preferences
