Clinical Trial Engagement Lead (12-month contract)

AstraZeneca seeks a Clinical Trial Engagement Lead for a 12-month contract to build strategic relationships with oncology clinical sites and key external experts. The role manages site delivery, enrollment optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to position the company as a preferred trial sponsor while ensuring high-quality data generation.

Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end site management for enrollment readiness and timely data delivery
Build and maintain strategic relationships with oncology institutions, investigators, and site leadership
Monitor study start-up performance, enrollment metrics, and database quality across assigned sites
Collaborate across clinical, legal, contracts, and vendor teams to remove execution barriers
Apply regional and scientific insights to inform site feasibility and strategic allocation decisions

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in life science or related discipline, or equivalent qualification
Minimum 4 years clinical operations, site engagement, or medical affairs experience
Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and relevant local regulations
Strong client relationship management and negotiation abilities
Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Problem-solving and conflict resolution expertise
