Don Alfonso is seeking experienced, passionate Bartenders to join our opening bar team. As an integral part of our front-of-house experience, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional hospitality while crafting refined cocktails and beverages with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, attentive, and personalized service that reflects Don Alfonso's standards of excellence.
• Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Ensure all alcohol service complies with the Liquor Licence and Control Act (Ontario) and Smart Serve guidelines.
• Prepare beverage orders for both bar guests and the dining room in a timely and organized manner.
• Maintain a clean, fully stocked, and well-organized bar by coordinating with support staff to replenish glassware, garnishes, spirits, mixers, bar tools, and supplies.
• Execute opening, closing, and daily operational procedures according to established standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all bar areas throughout service.
• Build positive relationships with guests through product knowledge, thoughtful recommendations, and engaging hospitality.
• Promote responsible alcohol service while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
• Collaborate with the culinary and service teams to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience , preferably in an upscale, fine dining, luxury hotel, or high-volume restaurant environment.
• Valid Smart Serve Certification (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
• Passion for hospitality, craft cocktails, premium spirits, wine, and delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, bar techniques, and beverage service standards.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining composure during busy service periods.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Experience handling cash and processing credit card transactions accurately.
• Commitment to health, safety, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol service.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
